Power Soccer Camp August 9-14 at
Camp Courage
This year was the best so far! We had many great volunteers.
Each athlete received a gift bag and a t-shirt. Local girl scouts
helped with arts and crafts to get The Girl Scout Gold Award.
Campers tye dyed t-shirts, decorated water bottles and gift bags,
made name tags and friendship bracelets, and painted picture
frames. Campers also went tubing and swimming, some athletes
were told they would never swim by doctors and other
professionals! Every night there was a campfire with music.
Athletes played power soccer at least 6 hours everyday. Jerry, Ed,
and Pika taught new drills and helped improve skills. Everybody was
sad to go home and said they would be back next year!
